Beritasolo ■ Ketut Sumarajaya (20) a young man from the village of Pemecutan Kaja, West Denpasar, who sold narcotics for gorilla tobacco by prosecutors was demanded 10 years in prison.
Ni Ketut Lawyer Hevy Yushantini, SH stated that the defendant was proven guilty of committing criminal acts in possession of narcotics in the form of non-plants as regulated and threatened in Article 112 paragraph (2) of RI Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
"Requesting the defendant be sentenced to prison for 10 years, and sue the defendant with a fine of Rp 1 billion which can be replaced with a two-month prison sentence," said the Public Prosecutor through a teleconference to the judge presided over by Engeliky Handajani Hari, SH.MH.
Against the prosecutors' demands, the defendant was arrested through the development of a previous case, as well as two gorilla tobacco users namely Razi Karunia Firmansyah and Muhamad Nur Khotib, immediately filed a written defense.
In the indictment, Karunia alias Nur Khotib admitted to the police that the prohibited items were obtained from the defendant who lives on Cokroaminoto Street, Banjar Balun, Pemecutan Kaja Village, West Denpasar.
The police then persuaded the defendant by asking Muhamad Nur Khotib to order a gorilla tobacco package. The defendant also agreed to Muhamad Nur Khotib's request and agreed to make a transaction on Saturday, 7 March 2020 at the defendant's house.
That's when the officers immediately arrested the defendant. Along with the arrest, officers found evidence from the defendant's hand in the form of a plastic clip filled with gorilla tobacco.
During a search of the defendant's house, 28 plastic gorilla tobacco clips were found and 9 bottles containing Synthetic Liquids containing 4-Flouro-MDMB-Butinica Narcotics were found.
The total evidence secured from the defendant was 29 plastic clips containing gorilla tobacco with a total net weight of 214.5 grams and 9 bottles containing Liquid Sinte containing Narcotic Butinica 4-Flouro-MDMB-Butinica with an overall net weight of 154.83 grams.
"It is known, the defendant obtained this prohibited item by buying it online through Instagram for Rp5 million," prosecutor Hevy said in the indictment. (Ar / R5)
