Beritasolo ■ Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum representing the Governor of West Java accompanied the work visit of the Minister of Cooperatives and UMKM of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) in the agenda of Opening the Implementation of HR Training for Cooperative and SME Training in the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs at the Horizon Hotel, Tasikmalaya City, Friday (10 / 7/20)).
In his remarks, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum appreciated the training of 340 cooperative and UKM activists in the Tasikmalaya Regency and City given by the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs. This is considered able to improve the technical and managerial abilities of the participants.
In addition, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum appreciates government programs including the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises which are now targeting pesantren or santri.
"So far, students are only known to study knowledge in tarbiyah (education). But now pesantren are gradually being invited to the muamalah (business) field. This boasts the pesantren community in West Java," he said.
According to him, because of the development of Islam, if supported by three tarbiyah elements, siyasa (politics) and muamalah, it would be great.
There are nine types of cooperative HR and MSME training conducted by the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs at the Horizon Hotel and three other hotels, including entrepreneurial management training for students, sharia cooperation training for pesantren, and entrepreneurship training for plantations / agriculture and fisheries / fishing communities livestock.
Uu Ruzhanul Ulum said that this training was a strategic effort to encourage cooperative and SME activities while at the same time improving community welfare.
"After this, the hope is that pesantren, cooperatives, and MSMEs must be given access to everything. Don't just practice without being given access to sell, get raw materials, and so on. Likewise we (the Provincial Government of West Java) provide opportunities for example through programs "OPOP (One Pesantren One Product) and OVOC (One Village One Company)," Uu said.
"Congratulations to the trainees, hopefully useful and blessing. Also, I want to thank the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs for paying attention to West Java," he added.
