BERITASOLO ■ The Chairman of the DPP in Politics, PDIP Puan Maharani, announced 45 names of pairs of candidates for regional heads who will fight in the Simultaneous Election 2020.
Among them, including Gibran Rakabuming and Teguh Santosa who advanced in the Solo Election.
The announcement was carried out in a meeting that was held virtually from the Central Office of DPP PDIP in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Friday (17/7).
Gibran Rakabuming Raka said he was not surprised at the announcement. He only asked for prayers to the public so that all the processes that he went through for contestation in the Solo elections could be smooth.
"I just pray that everything is launched," Gibran said.
It is known, the announcement of the regional head candidate was the second wave. After the announcement of the first wave was made on 19 February 2020 then.
